Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Launchcraft (the "App"), a rocket launch tracking application for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch developed by Dustin Lange ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Launchcraft provides information about upcoming and past rocket launches, space news, astronaut activity, and related content, sourced from third-party data providers (such as The Space Devs' Launch Library 2) and news outlets. Launch dates, times, and mission details are subject to change without notice by the parties conducting those launches, and we make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

Subscriptions & Billing

Launchcraft offers a free trial followed by an auto-renewing subscription ($1.99/month or $19.99/year). By starting a subscription, you authorize Apple to charge your Apple ID account according to the pricing and terms presented at the time of purchase.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.

All billing is handled by Apple through the App Store; we do not process or store payment information.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except as permitted by law
  • Use the App in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair its operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its underlying systems
  • Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the App

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content created by us, is owned by Dustin Lange and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Mission patches, launch imagery, and news content displayed in the App remain the property of their respective owners and are used for informational purposes.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

Third-Party Content & Services

The App displays launch data, news articles, and images sourced from third-party providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party sources. Links to external webcasts or articles will take you outside the App, and use of those external sites is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that launch information will be accurate or up to date.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dustin Lange shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including reliance on launch schedules, countdowns, or notifications that turn out to be inaccurate or delayed.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, the updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, except as otherwise required by applicable local law.
